With more than 30 years of carpentry experience, Paul has helped hundreds of students learn how to be successful in the field. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, farming, and spending quality time with his family and their two miniature Australian Shepherds.

serves as the Home Builders Institute’s Plumbing instructor at Flatwoods Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. Larry’s experience includes 15-year ownership of a plumbing business and service in the local government. He loves sharing his passion for plumbing with students.

After completing seven years of service in the United States Army, Randy joined the Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association, gaining experience working on several commercial projects as foreman and superintendent before beginning his teaching career in 2015.

is a certified master plumber and electrician and an Electrical instructor at Flatwoods Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. A member of the team since 2011, he brings more than 35 years of experience in electrical work and plumbing to the classroom.

is the Hotel and Lodging instructor and joined the Maui Job Corps Center team nearly 15 years ago. She began her work at Job Corps as a career counselor and later became a Retail Sales instructor before assuming her current position. Christine is passionate about people, and working for Job Corps allows her to use her educational background to prepare students for their future careers.

is the Home Builders Institute’s Building Construction Technology instructor at Maui Job Corps Center. He joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union in 1982, moved to Hawaii in 1985, and later began working in the construction industry and founded his own company. Darren hopes to inspire his students and teach them the skills he has learned throughout his career to give them a great start for their own lives.

joined the Maui Job Corps Center team nearly 10 years ago, originally as the education secretary and now as the work-based learning specialist. She also brings experience in the hospitality industry, working at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa for seven years, and over 20 years in customer service. In her free time, Peggy is part of a motorcycle club, team captain at Valley Isle Bowling Club and a member of Ahahui Ka’ahumanu Chapter IV. She enjoys riding her motorcycle, bowling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Before joining Maui Job Corps Center as Culinary Arts instructor, Larry Tuzon graduated from the Maui Community College Culinary Arts program and worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. His hospitality experience spans several resorts, hotels and restaurants in the Maui area, and he also has experience as an educator at local high schools and community colleges. Larry enjoys incorporating his love for cooking and passion for teaching into his daily work, helping students gain real-life skills and build a strong foundation for their futures.
