began her teaching career in Chicago, Ill., after earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, and master’s and doctoral degrees in education. She currently works at Los Angeles Job Corps Center as the Office Fundamentals instructor. Latrice loves all aspects of teaching and learning, and wants the very best for all her students.

has been an educator since 1986. While enrolled as a student in high school, Kwok began an entry-level training position working in computer technology. His career has always revolved around computers, from teaching computer classes to working as a financial analyst, to computer repair and networking. Kwok started working part time for Los Angeles Job Corps as a computer technician in 2014 and is currently an Office Administration instructor.

Marnisha Mintlow

is the Senior Office Administration instructor at Los Angeles Job Corps Center. Throughout her teaching career, she has focused on teaching math, special education and software applications to students of all ages, and she holds her MBA. Marnisha enjoys teaching because she can touch the lives of many by sharing information that students will use for a lifetime. 

Jesus Gutierrez - Clinical Medical Assistant - Los Angeles Job Corps Center

Jesus Gutierrez

is a full-time Clinical Medical Assistant instructor at Los Angeles Job Corps Center. He has taught in postsecondary schools since 2010 and worked in the health care field since 2005. Jesus earned clinical medical assistant and phlebotomy teaching credentials and an associate degree in general studies. Jesus’ experience working with a diverse patient population has prepared him for the classroom at Job Corps. He is enthusiastic about sharing his training, knowledge and skills with the next generation who will serve their communities in the health care field.

Dan Abramowicz

has held several positions throughout his time at Hawaii Job Corps Center and currently serves as the Academic and Penn Foster High School instructor. Dan has held several other positions at HJCC, including Career Transition Readiness specialist, College Program coordinator, TABE Test administrator and Career Transition Placement specialist. He embraces a BIONIC (Believe It Or Not I Care) attitude when working with students.

is a CPP instructor at Hawaii Job Corps and previously worked as a senior secretary for the deputy director on campus. Sara provides attention to detail for her CPP2 students as they complete their MyPACE career plans and move forward to the CDP phase of the program.
